Volleyball players recognized for their academic achievements
Century College had four volleyball players receive postseason academic honors for the 2021 season. Freshmen players Alice Schneider, (Nancy, France) Kailee Huynh (Laurel, Montana), Adalyn Mueller (Stillwater, MN) and sophomore Greta Warmka (Grand Meadow, MN) were all named to the MCAC All-Academic team for the 2021 season. To achieve this honor, student-athletes need to earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher during the volleyball season.
Alice Schneider also made the MCAC Elite team for her accomplishments on the court as well as maintaining a high grade point average. "These athletes worked hard during the season both on the court and in the classroom and I hope to have more players get recognition next fall," stated Head Coach Jay Kam.
Century finished their first season as a member of the MCAC conference by reaching the NJCAA Divison III Region XIII Volleyball Tournament.
