Wood Ducks Win Two at the Region XIII Tournament to Advance to the Region XIII Final Four/North Plains District.
The Wood Ducks will play Alexandria Tech at 5pm on Thursday in St. Cloud (Dick Putz Field) to open the District Tournament.

Wood Ducks 15 – NDSCS 0
Kaden Pfeffer was perfect on the mound on Thursday to lead the Century College Wood Ducks past NDSCS Wildcats 15-0. Pfeffer induced a groundout from Colter Oie to end the game to complete the perfect game. Pfeffer earned the victory on the mound. The lefty allowed zero hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out eight and walking zero.
Century got on the board in the first inning when Brock Larsen singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. The Ducks scored seven runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught by Century was led by Noah Drusch, Larsen, Grant Proctor, Guthrie, Porter Jorgenson, and Zach Bruns, who each had RBIs in the inning. Blaine Guthrie led the Wood Ducks to victory by driving in four runs. Guthrie went 3-for-4 at the plate. The Wood Ducks smacked one home run on the day. Drusch went deep in the third inning. Century collected 17 hits on the day. Guthrie, Dom Vogel, Nick Ibrahim, Proctor, Drusch, and Larsen all managed multiple hits. Vogel and Guthrie both had three hits to lead Century.
Wood Ducks 10 – Ridgewater 2
Brock Larsen came to ballpark and meant business on Friday, tallying four hits and leading Wood Ducks to a 10-2 win over Ridgewater CC. Larsen singled in the first, singled in the third, singled in the fourth, and doubled in the eighth. Century pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Zach Bruns's sac fly scored a run, Xander Paar drew a walk for a RBI, Larsen singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring a run, and Grant Proctor singled on a 0-2 count, scoring a run. The Wood Ducks racked up 15 hits on the day. Larsen, Nick Ibrahim, Paar, Noah Drusch, and Proctor each racked up multiple hits. Ibrahim and Larsen each managed four hits! Ryan Bell earned the victory on the mound. He gave up two runs on five hits over six innings, striking out three and walking one.
