Porter Jorgenson collected three hits and three bags as the Wood Ducks defeated Hamline University JV 13-1 on Monday at River Falls, WI. Century opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to two doubles. They first got on the board when Winky Estrada doubled, scoring Seth Nelson. The Wood Ducks added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Hank Munson doubled and added a run in the third after Cole Bakkum singled. Joey Koch earned the win, he surrendered zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out six and walking none. Brandon Hugo stepped on the hill first for Century. The righty surrendered three hits and one run over three innings, striking out five and walking one. Tim Buckles tossed one inning of scoreless ball for Century College Wood Ducks in relief. He gave up one hit, striking out three and walking none. The Ducks collected 13 hits in the game. Jorgenson and Seth Nelson each collected three hits. Nelson led Century with three runs batted in. Adrian Warcken collected two hits also.

Seth Tierney hit two home runs and drove in six as the Wood Ducks defeated Hamline University JV 11-1 in the second leg of the double header. Century opened the scoring in the first after Tierney homered to left field, scoring three runs. A double by Seth Nelson extended the Wood Ducks lead to 6-0 in the bottom of the second inning.
The Wood Ducks scored five runs on two hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Nelson doubled, scoring two runs, and Tierney homered to left center field, scoring three runs. Nelson, Tierney, and Adrian Warcken each collected two hits. Wes Nelson earned the win for the Wood Ducks. The right-handed pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out one and walking none. Seth Luther started on the hill and surrendered one hit and one run over three innings, striking out six and walking one. Cole Bakkum tossed one inning of zero-run ball in relief. He allowed zero hits, striking out three and walking one.
