The Wood Ducks finish regular season at 31-15 and with a four-game sweep.
Century finishes the regular season on a high note. They swept a four-game set over Minnesota Post Grad scoring 55 runs on the weekend. The Wood Ducks finished 8-8 in the MCAC South Division and qualified for the Region XIII tournament. They now will wait for their schedule at regions which will be held in St. Cloud at Dick Putz Field and Joe Faber Field May 9th and 10th.

Riverland 2 Wood Ducks 1 (10 innings)
Both teams were strong on the hill on Saturday, but Riverland Community College was just a little bit stronger at the plate in their 2-1 victory over the Wood Ducks. Brandon Hugo started the game for Century College and recorded 24 outs. The Wood Ducks got on the board in the third inning after Dom Vogel lined out, scoring a run. Evan Lenz doubled after a 6-pitch at-bat, which helped Riverland tie the game at one in the bottom of the seventh. Asahi Sato earned the win for Riverland Community College. The right-handed pitcher allowed five hits and one run (zero earned) over 10 innings, striking out six and walking one. Mason McGowan took the loss for Century. The righty went one and two-thirds innings, surrendering one run (zero earned) on one hit, striking out two and walking two. Hugo started on the mound. The starting pitcher allowed eight hits and one run over eight innings, striking out seven and walking one. Cole Bakkum, Porter Jorgenson, Seth Tierney, Adrian Warcken, and Jack Huberty each collected a hit for Century.
Riverland 13 Wood Ducks 3
Riverland scored 11 runs in the sixth inning, which helped them defeat the Ducks 13-3. The Wood Ducks got on the board in the top of the first inning after Seth Nelson was struck by a pitch, Porter Jorgenson walked, and Joe Hansen hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring a run. Riverland flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring 11 runs on eight hits to take a 12-3 lead. Wes Nelson took the loss. The starting pitcher went five and one-third innings, surrendering seven runs (five earned) on seven hits, striking out four and walking. Dom Vogel, Nelson, and Seth Tierney each collected a hit for the Wood Ducks. Hansen, Jorgenson, and Nelson each drove in a run.
Wood Ducks 6 Riverland 2
The Wood Ducks were victorious against Riverland Community College 6-2. Century were the first to get on the board in the first when Jack Sorenson induced Seth Tierney to hit into a fielder's choice for a run. Sam McEvoy singled, which helped Riverland Community College tie the game at one in the top of the second. Century took the lead in the bottom of the third. Tierney homered to left field, scoring two runs, to give the Wood Ducks the upper hand, 3-1. Boden Simon hit a solo home run to center field in the top of the fifth for Riverland Community College. Seth Luther earned the win. The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out nine and walking one. Tierney provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led the Wood Ducks with two runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-3 on the day. Number eight hitter, Chris Brey, showed the depth of the Wood Ducks' lineup, by leading them with two hits in three at bats.
Wood Ducks 17 Riverland 7
Chris Brey hit two home runs and drove in six as Century College Wood Ducks defeated Riverland Community College 17-7. Brey homered in the second and third innings. Both offenses were strong at the plate as Century collected 14 hits and Riverland Community College 10 in the high-scoring affair. Riverland Community College opened the scoring in the top of the first thanks to two singles. Century College Wood Ducks tied the game in the bottom of the second thanks to a home run to center field by Brey, and a single by Adrian Warcken. In the top of the third, Riverland Community College broke up the tie when Evan Lenz doubled, scoring one run. Then a single by Jeremy Portela followed to extend the lead to 6-4. A home run to left field by Brey gave Century. College the lead, 7-6, in the bottom of the third. The Wood Ducks scored eight runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Seth Tierney hit a solo home run to right field, Jack Huberty doubled, scoring two runs, Warcken homered to left field, scoring three runs, and Tierney homered to right field, Huberty homered to right field, scoring two runs in the bottom of the sixth for the Wood Ducks. Chris Brey drove in four runs on two hits to lead the Wood Ducks past Hamline University 11-8. Brey doubled in the third inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the sixth inning, scoring two. Bats blistered as the Ducks collected 12 hits and Hamline University tallied eight in the high-scoring game. Hamline University got on the board in the top of the first inning after Tim Buckles induced Will Karlen to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored, and Tanner Horton singled, scoring two runs. Brey doubled, which helped the Wood Ducks tie the game at three in the bottom of the third. Century flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the sixth, scoring six runs on six hits to take a 11-8 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Brey that drove in two. Mason McGowan earned the win for the Wood Ducks. The reliever allowed zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking one. He went one inning, allowing six runs on six hits, striking out two and walking one. Buckles began the game for Century College Wood Ducks. Dom Vogel hit for the cycle to carry Century to a 13-7 victory over Hamline University. Vogel hit a home run to right field in the fourth inning, tripled in the fifth inning, doubled in the third inning, and singled in the first inning. Both offenses were strong at the plate as the Wood Ducks collected 18 hits and Hamline University nine in the high-scoring affair. The Wood Ducks got on the board in the second inning after Caden Besemer singled, scoring one run. A single by Porter Jorgenson gave Century the lead, 3-1, in the bottom of the third. The Wood Ducks lost to Rochester CTC 8-3 on Saturday. Century got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Jack Huberty homered to center field, Seth Nelson doubled, and Porter Jorgenson hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run. Rochester CTC scored one run in the top of the second on a solo home run to right field by Luis Rodriguez. Rochester CTC flipped the game on its head in the top of the seventh, scoring six runs on seven hits to take a 8-3 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Rodriguez that drove in three. Brandon Hugo took the loss for the Wood Ducks. Rochester CTC were the first to get on the board in the first when Rees Campanale homered to center field, scoring two runs. Rochester CTC scored two runs in the top of the third on a home run to right field by Griffin Olson. Jorgenson homered to right field, which helped the Wood Ducks tie the game at four in the bottom of the third. Wes Nelson took the loss for Century College Wood Ducks. Century College Wood Ducks fell to Rochester CTC 6-3. Century College opened the scoring in the first after Dom Vogel doubled, scoring one run. Century added one run in the second. Cole Bakkum singled, making the score 2-0. Augusto Mungarrieta singled, which helped Rochester CTC tie the game at two in the bottom of the second. Rochester CTC took the lead in the bottom of the third. Owen Vargas singled, scoring one run, to give Rochester CTC the upper hand, 3-2.Jack Huberty grounded out, which helped Century tie the game at three in the top of the fourth. In the bottom of the fifth, Rochester CTC broke up the tie when Jerry Santigo Jr. drew a walk, scoring one run. Then a single by Mungarrieta followed to extend the lead to 6-3.
