43-9 Wood Ducks Win Region XIII & North Plains District. Headed to the NJCAA World Series

The 43-9 Wood Ducks Win Region XIII/North Plains District Final Four Tournament. They now advance to the World Series  in Auburn, NY.  The Ducks beat SCTCC 9-4 in the quarterfinals, Alex Tech 14-0 in the semifinals, and Alex Tech 6-4 (12 innings) in the championship. Hunter Guenther was named Tournament MVP and Coach Matthew Erzar was named region coach of the year. 

The Wood Ducks received the 8th seed and will play the 1 seed SUNY Niagara (49-0) Saturday May 24th at 4pm EST in the first round of the 8-team double-elimination tournament.
